The match, which drew hundreds of spectators, saw Tononoka take an early lead in the first half, only for Serani to equalize and force the game into a dramatic shootout. Serani’s composure under pressure secured their place in the national games, set to be hosted in Kakamega County. Tononoka, despite a valiant effort throughout the tournament, fell short but can take pride in pushing the champions to their limits. Serani now carries the hopes of the Coast Region as they prepare to compete on the national stage, aiming to build on their past performances.
